Tubes are really the only thing that pisses me off in this game. People with heartbeat are just wasting their own attachment. Lightweight is legit as long as its not paired with commando. But even so knifers are are not too bad.

Love this game! Play on xbox live daily! Also play with one hand due to my right arm being paralyzed. Check out a vid of me playing if your interested. Youtube.com/timeismoney22

Terrible game from a pc gamers perspective!!!! No dedicated servers, valve anti cheat, no custom mods, no competitive gameplay all just adds up to a terrible game! just my 2 cents

Monster, agree'd. They did shoot their own foot when they released this game at the PC. Then again its all good on the consoles though. :)

Heartbeat sensors on a Barret with Thermal are GOAT. Went 20-plus and 0 many times with it.

The weapon I use to come back from a slump, though, is the RPD with Thermal Grip and Stopping Power. Most of my most legendary performances have been with that.

Now... Owning in public games ain't the biggest deal mate. :p

Besides I do love playing against heartbeat sensors of two reasons, they usual look too much on the heartbeat and I can hear the heartbeat sensor nearby me. So easy kills either way, thermal got one weakness. Way to easy to flank and take down.

Let's play 1V1 sometime.

Fair enough, let's do that. Your location in this world, so I can get the best person to host for us two when we do it. If you're based in US, I will arrive in Canada around late august/september so you got some weeks to train yourself. ;)

Just don't be one of those public heroes mate, strive for more if you feel you have the skills for that.

I didn't say I was a hero. I just want to see what you're all about, that's all.

Oh, that's no problem. I might be harsh when I went out on you then. Well, if you're in US/Canada - we can hook up take some games against each other and with each other.

Think I will just be clear rather then attacking you which I didn't attend to do bud. I'm not biggest fan of attachments that usual are gameturners or people, who say they are great in it. When there is harder choices of attachment, so say someone who is playing good with say sil - x - ninja/xx go on a spree vs say someone which preys for those in that classes.

Seen a lot of people that loves to use thermal/tubes/heartbeat/lw+mara+stabby stabby suddenly comes to anti maps or meet people with their anti class becomes completly useless. Again I'm more biased towards those people, so sorry if I did offend you since it seems like I did. :)

I will gladly play 1vs1 scrim against you. But having bit bad games with loads of tubers/thermals and such makes me bit more... err.. emotional when I talk about it haha

So shouldn't have hammered you down and instead, asked you how you play with it instead. Since hey, even I can use heartbeat now and then. If I do use it I try to use it as a last resort tool. Got x41 headsets from Turtlebeach, so in some saying that makes a bit difference in my gaming experience. Since sounds you usual wouldn't hear, you hear easily. Like my setting there, I keep my own sound low. So if I shoot, its almost no sound and if I walk, its almost no sound. But I will have sound on everyone else, thus say its a sniper shooting (bad choice of example) I will be able to hear almost exactly where it shoot from, thus by knowing the map you can guess where he is (granade). If I go upfront, I will be most likely killed which does happends. Thats one of the things I like about this game, its bit harder to be a standard sniper since as attacker you have many ways to reach that person. As I also said, because of the sound, I can hear every step he takes and this leaves me to have a very big adventage when playing against certain people.

Thats also why I said I'm better with heartbeat people, since you can hear the beep from the gun when you're close. If it's a team I'm playing a lot with, I will know if its a enemy or friend, since I know how they will move.

So say, individual skills: I'm probably above average player because of three things: Knowing the maps inside out, my sound makes me hear everything (SitRep Pro counters Ninja) and last thing, bit too much playing when it comes to whole COD series haha

This alone makes me a good public player, but per now - I'm just a average guy on MLG tournaments. Because I lack certain training in real life and clanwise to jump up, since I dont see myself as player that will jump into top50 clans in the world xD

But back again to my playstyle with heartbeat, I like to use it as a tool to find out where the cluster of enemies are. Most games, team mates stick together. (Lone wolf here), so I use it to find where the cluster is and combined with hearing their steps, I can assume where they are moving and when they will pop by the windows. If I'm feeling lucky, you always have the family mode and spray through the walls, but I aint there just yet! :)

Hope this clear it up a bit mate. :)

It's all good. I just didn't want a misconception on my end, that's all.

I don't use the heartbeat that much. Just when sniping because I'm usually vulnerable. If I scope out and I'm unsure if I missed on some surround action, I just use the heartbeat. Cold Blooded doesn't save you from that. It's also only on one sniper class I have.

And yeah, I'm more of a lone-wolf myself. I'm used to playing with the volume down out of respect for my roommates. I've done pretty well without relying on trivial sounds like footsteps and all. I can't imagine how much better I would be with the sound up and "programmed" to reacting to hearing them. Most of my friends can not play on my setup because they need the sounds.

It's an interesting aspect to the game, but one I haven't quite mastered yet and probably never will.

But if you dont use heartbeat you can use scavenge/soh/marathon instead. Just how I see it. I don't know your playstyle but I never really feel heartbeat sensor and bling are better then the alternatives.

Yes, I love that game. Like most of you. ;) The graphics and intensity are the two main things i like. And Call of Duty: Black Ops are coming out soon also.I bet it's going to be better than MW2.

SOH I can see being useful with a sniper. But not marathon. Maybe on a big map like Wasteland. If I'm doing Sub Base or something, I use the heartbeat if I'm in close-quarters. Not sure if I mentioned this earlier, but I use HBS only when sniping. Not on my ARs or RPDs.

If your camping out scavenge/claymores can be more effective then hbs/thermal. Just my playstyle tho. I dont really like sniper rifles much.. when i have them I tend to use my secondary more anyways.

Haha, yeah - it's all about getting used to something. Before I needed to play my FPS with just music, but now I can't play music! Though I think the sound adventage is 70% of my "skills" in term of freekills, since I hear everything they can't hear and more.

Good way to describe the sound I have. We're on estate, while I'm inside of the boathouse. I can hear people walking in the estate building and guess where they are from what sounds they are making there.

You can hear footsteps inside of a house over 100 yards away?
