Help Call quality question

The other day I was reading a thread that talked about a way to change a band in the phone settings that supposedly allows for better call quality. For the life of me, I can't find that thread, or how to get into that menu.

If someone could tell me just how to get to that menu I can probably find my way from there. It was ## something.

I made the change and was fine for a day or two, but now I can't make calls. Data and everything else is working fine...just can't make a call. Says network is busy.
