Help Call waiting notification

Hi!
I have a HTC Desire HD.
I have noticed a small problem with the call waiting.
When I have an active call with someone and someone else is calling then I get an notification (also used Call Waiting Configuration to customize it), but when I'm calling I don't get anything so I don't know if someone is in call with someone else.
I also have a Galaxy S, but when I call in the same situation then I get - "call in waiting" or something like that.
Is there a way to get some kind of a notification about an active call?

This is basically a question about how the UI is programmed. As far as I know, HTC has not implemented this. But I'm sure someone (if not yet) will make a program on the market that you can install, that will do this for you. It is pretty simple (if you know the code, which I unfortunately don't) to program, as it is a system embedded into most phone networks. The programmers just have to be assed to write code to recognize this when you make a call

Yeah It looks like this is an android issue, I've seen many android users are having this problem, the call waiting notification is too low to alert you, and you usually get a lot of missed calls, I know that there is an app called call waiting config from the market, it helps but it has some glitches when you connect a BT headset.

I should go back to nokia.
