Help Callers don't know i'm already on a call!

I love the S2 and can't really fault it at all but one thing puzzles me, when i'm on a call and another person calls the second caller doesn't get an engaged tone so they think my phone is ringing out. Is there a setting to change this? I've been through all the menus and can't find anything
 
Disable call waiting.

Goto Dialer, press Menu key and select "call settings"

Scroll down to Additional Settings --> un-check call waiting.

The call settings menu may be present in your "Settings" menu, depending on your Android version.
 
Cheers mate, I changed it and tried it out. Now when someone else calls I don't know anything about it until I get the text about the voicemail. I seem to remember back in the day if you called someone and it was engaged you would hear an engaged tone. Thats what I want on mine and I want to see who's trying to call also. Is this possible?
 
I don't get any missed call alerts, just a text to say I have a voicemail if call waiting is off. I'll call talkmobile now
 
According to talkmobile, new smartphones can't have an engaged tone when another call comes in! And I can't even send a smiley to my girls iphone! Bring back the nokia 3200!!!
