Help calling problems :(

hello!

my mom has the warp and i am trying to help her fix it. basically-when someone calls her or she calls someone; she cant hear anything on her end. she cant hear a thing; its like picking up a dead cell phone trying to talk to someone. here is what happened. she was making a call, and someone else called her line. so she clicked over and talked to the other person. then she cliked back over and finished talking to her original call. she noticed a lot of crackling noises during the call when she clicked over and after she returned to her original call. for several days she had really bad reception on her end, but the other person can hear her clearly. then yesterday-she couldnt hear anything at all when she answers the phone.

i want to know has anyone had any problems like this? and any fixes?? im trying to fix this myself before we ship it off to get fix or replaced. any info will help alot.

Try doing a factory reset

Or has the phone been updated? Try to Do a software update. If So then I think you can reset the phone by turning it off then pressing both the power and volume up at the same time.. there should be a option to Do a factory reset. Let me know what happens

she took it back to the store she got it from and they did; but she still cant hear anything on her end during a call

the phone is updated, and since she did a factory reset already idk if i should do it again...not sure what to do...

I'd call them. And they will Do it for free because it's a factory defect. Just say the speaker stopped working.

i just go off the phone with them. they said i had to get it fixed first-so they are sending me a shipping label to ship the phone to them to fix it. if it still dosent work after that i think i will get a replacement then. at least they are fixing it for free.

My ear speaker just bit the dust too.
I am shipping it back to ZTE.
