Root Camara issue gtalk FC

Looks like a couple of people are having issue with gtalk FC and camara not working anyone having this issue. this could be with 2.11 base... is anyone on 2.10 base having this issue?

I just flashed the 817 radio earlier tonight, (CDMA only) and I just checked and my camera doesn't work, along with my Gtalk FC as well

I just flash GB Remix 2.1 and everything works fine ... i guess its bamf issue with the kernel

HOT DAMN. I LOVE this FORUM! Almost thought I was the only one having these issues.

I just rooted via Revolution a few days ago and have TI installed. After removing some bloatware and seeing there no issues, I decided yesterday to download and flash the 2.11 (DEBLOAT) RUU from XDA. The Gtalk app IMMEDIATELY stops unexpectedly and goes to an force close. I am also unable to use the camera as well. I'll select the camera app, it tries to access it and then does an automatic force close.

Then I did a full wipe and installed another version of the 2.11 (DEODEXED) RUU and still encounter the same issues. Also, I tried using the camcorder and it doesn't work as well, which would make sense.

Edit: I did also try changing the time and did have the same results, everything works just fine after changing the time to manual and then back to automatic. Still has problem after powering off/restarting...

Found a fix.... check first post it will fix camara and gtalk FC also it has said to fix ffc inversion on imoseyon's kernel

Should we flash it in clockwork? Or flash like a radio in hboot?

Recovery. You will not flash much in hboot really.

Ha, I noticed that earlier, but strangely enough if you take pics with the front, they come out normal, so Im thinking the same happens when it gets broadcast, but is weird on your screen. Ill have Zig look into it.

My gf phone is not rooted. So I just downloaded the fix file. Changed it to PG05IMG.ZIP and try to flash it on HBOOT. It read it but it didnt do anything. I did a different method where I make sure its PG05IMG.ZIP and not PG05IMG.ZIP.ZIP but nothing. So what can I do if shes not rooted. She got the Gingerbread update from the leak 2.11.

If she is not rooted you should never try to flash anything with hboot you are lucky it didn't do anything worse than nothing, you could have caused a nice brick. She will need to wait it out until an update is made to fix the issue, or root and flash the fix in recovery.
