do you think we will ever get a camara setting like the htc one where u can record and take pics at the same time ? even if it is a custom rom is it able to be done ?

i am using aokp b31 rom and you can tap the preview screen while recording and it takes a still photo.

You can do this already with a Galaxy Nexus. It's a feature of the ICS camera that has been there since launch. Just tap the screen while recording video.
