Camera blur, haze and noise.

Hi all,
I just got my handset at the weekend and I love it so far apart from the camera.
When I take shots indoors the noise (grain is horrible).
I have tried changing the ISO and it doesn

The camera isn't particularly good in low light conditions. Add the way it focuses to the mix and this could explain the inconsistent quality of indoor pictures. Turning the auto-focus and face recognition features off can improve some shots, e.g. non-portrait shots, shots of rooms, etc, although you'll have to remember to manually focus the image.

Flash helps of course, but the light can be too harsh for some shots. If you have the time to compose a shot, you can use the old trick of putting some tissue paper or cigarette paper over the flash LED.

I've tried playing with the Sharpness settings in 'Image adjustment', which seems to improve the graininess in some pictures if it's set at -1 or -2.
