For what it is worth, I have some comparison pictures taken with the new and old Nexus 7 cameras if anyone is interested:

The new Nexus appears to have a better camera than your Galaxy phone. Look at the keys on your keyboard or keys on your desk phone, or the small rectangle in the corner of your computer monitor, "Press here to log off". The label on the bottle. Incredible. Colors look less saturated and more true on the Nexus as well.

If you could actually see the desk, you wouldn't say the colors look true . There is way more red in the Nexus back camera image than there is in the actual office.
