Help Camera consistently NOT working?

So a while back the camera started getting fritzy. I can load it up just fine, and I can see through the "viewfinder" just fine...for like two seconds. Then I get the "not responding: force close / wait" message. Also, notably, all of the camera's options/tweaks are gone (flash, focus, etc). The area where those icons normally are is just blank. I cannot take pictures at all anymore.

I just reflashed (clean wipe / reinstall), and I was able to take one picture before it started doing this again. Help?

Get a replacement. It may be a hardware issue which is what it sounds like.

I'm rooted...what are the odds they'll notice, if I sent it in under warranty?

Slim to none. What you can try is flashing a different rom, but if that makes no difference than definitively get a replacement.

I tried three ROMs (TG, TG rebooted, and MIUI). All of them had the issue, although earlier today the camera was working fine...wonder if it's fixed randomly.

just reboot ur phone that should fix the problem. i was having the same issue on camera in tg reloaded. i just rebooted and it fixed the problem for me.
