Help Camera Fix

the camera app on droid 2.2 would not function, only a camera sign would turn up for a few seconds and thats it. its had no hardware damage, any help please?

Has this just started? What did you do before it started? Have you modified your software in any way? How do you know there isn't a hardware problem?

mine was the exact same,camera symbol would come up on screen then the screen would go black.i sent it away to o2 for them to fix it and the did under warranty.turns out i had dropped it one to many times and the wiring was mucked up.its working a treat now.

I have not modified any software besides the HandCent SMS, which i upgraded , and now my LED notification does not work.

Please help?
