I've had my Commando for about a month now. Rooted it almost immediately, and uninstalled most of the list of apps deemed safe to remove after backing everything up. (may be relevant?)
Last night I tried using my camera at night for the first time since I got it, and the option to turn flash on is greyed out. I tried installing other camera apps, and none of them are able to turn the camera flash on, either.
The flashlight widget still works.
Does one of the apps I uninstalled control the camera flash, or is there another problem?
