I upgraded to 4.03 ZSLPF ICS via Kies.
Strangely, the camera has gone silent. There is no sound for touch-focus, nor shutter sound on taking photo nor on starting video.
I hope this sticks as I had contemplated rooting just to get rid of the relevant audio files.
Backup using Kies was still ridiculously slow. (And I thought iTunes was slow). It failed to complete after 2+ hours and 85% into 8922 items in Miscellaneous content files.
