Help Camera icon problem

I just started noticing this problem..when I go into the camera app on my phone my menu icons are in landscape mode, even though my phone is turned in portrait mode; my auto-rotate is off. It still takes pictures in portrait mode (even though the icons are in landscape mode) it just really bugs me. Although when I turn auto rotate on and go into my camera app, it changes to the correct orientation..does anyone know anything about how to fix this? I force closed my camera app and cleared the data and also tried taking my battery out and putting it back in..didn't work.

I don't think that's a problem, I think it is normal, at least, my phone does the same thing.

My camera app does the same (exactly as you described). Annoying but it doesn't actually break anything, so I'd call that a win.
