Root Camera Issues

SO my camera has suddenly decided to stop working and I'm not sure what to do. When I open the camera all that appears is a black screen, and I then need to press the home key to get out. Backing out, menu etc has no effect. I have flashed backups from last week, last month, etc and the same thing occurs. I tried to uninstall through TIBU and it won't reinstall afterwards.

I am currently running Airborne but don't think that has anything to do w/ it. Anyone know of a location to flash a zip of the camera file or something of that nature. Just trying to avoid bringing this this thing back to stock and dealing w/ Verizon, but my camera is pretty much a must have for me.

I would flash another rom and see how that does. Your backups could be corrupted or maybe airborne is faulty. After all isnt this a sony phone based OS? what recovery are you using? I know I was using the TWIRP touch screen recovery and had problems with my backups. So try these things and see what happens.

I tried flashing the Thundershed ROM, same issue. I'm thinking I'm gonna try Jrockers rooted/dbloated ROM, and if that doesn't work, go back to stock and see what happens from there.

Using Clockwork too.

So I did a whole lot of stuff all for nothing. Camera is broke I guess, not really sure how or why. I am back to stock through "HTC Thunderbolt Restore" app from the market and I have to say it worked like a charm. I have all the VZ apps on my phone that I haven't seen in over a year...sooooo gross!

Gonna try a factory reset maybe...although you would think the new update from Verizon would be similiar.
