Help Camera Keeps Coming on and other things

Ok so i am still messing with my ascend, well its my daughters now..The camera will randomly come on for no reason at all...camera button not pushed..Also screen will come out of the blank mode to show the locked screen, again no reason for this....Have wiped the phone bare using CWM, and did a fresh install of 2.1 but it still has issues...very fustrated any help would be appreciated
