Camera lens cover scratched Note SGHI717

I have blurred photos when taking outdoor shots or around certain indoor light. I noticed that about a 1/3 of my back came lens cover is scratched. Can the glass lens cover be replaced on the Galaxy Note I717 from AT&T? Is it user replaceable?
I think it is a poor design to have the glass cover flush on the back of the phone. Guess I should have used a case but did not like the sizes/thickness available.
