Help camera lens loose and rattles

Is the camera lens supposed to be loose and rattle, or is this a defect? If I touch the metal ring around the lens, I hear a rattle. It is even more pronounced if I set the phone down on a table.

Poor design because the phone actually rests on the camera metal ring when its lying on its side.

After more searching online, it seems that this is a common problem on HTC phones. But the camera is not supposed to be loose and rattle, because there are many people's HTC cameras that are not loose.

Yeah mine doesnt rattle at all, I was worried about the camera lense touching whatever surface I laid it on but that was solved with a TPU case for $7 on ebay.

If you are within your 30 days take it back.

I sent my back for exchange. The second one's camera was solid. Sucked that I was without the Inspire for 2 weeks for shipping and processing (I ordered it online).
