Root Camera not working with custom kernel

So I rooted for the first time today, and tried to install Hydra Kernel's #1 & #3 kernels. The system seems completely stable with each kernel, except when I open the Camera app, the camera view is completely blank. Almost as if something was blocking the lens. Then when I try and take a photo, it locks up. I tried closing all apps, and restarting the camera, but this didn't work.

Once I run a Nandroid restore prior to installing the kernels, the camera works fine. Anyone have any ideas why this would happen?

Guess I just figured out my issue. Looks like by installing the leaked OTA, then a Hydra Kernel, the camera will not work.

Yep, same problem for me. I'm assuming something in the kernel changed with the update, so just wait for Hydra to make a new set of kernels and I'm sure all will be ok.

I'm having the same issue. A lot of my apps are force closing too.

I was also having issues after doing a Titanium Backup restore which apparently restored more than it was supposed to. Reinstalled all the apps manually and, with the stock kernel, all is well with my leaked OTA.

I hope a Hydra Kernel is released that supports the OTA. I really want to have 720p and the ability to overclock / undervolt

It won't happen until HTC coughs up the kernel source and that definitely won't happen until its official.

Adryn, is there a way to unroot and downgrade the OTA without losing all of your phone data and apps?
