Help camera prob and parts

friend of mine picked up the inspire, the camera glass cracked in her purse at some point.
the camera still worked fine, then later on it started to show a very color spewed pic when you try to use it....

thoughts?
anyone know a parts place....im pretty good with electronics work.

Kinda what I figured. Warned her to avoid htc and at and t. She should have listened.

Not really sure why it would be a problem with ATT or HTC that the camera lens broke in her purse.
But anyway...
It's a newer phone so I don't think you can find replacement pieces on eBay. You would have to call HTC to see about repair unless she had the insurance through ATT but then that's $125 deductible.

because at and t has dismal customer service, and a phone in a case shouldnt break in a purse. it was not dropped or hit. htc's quality of build and at and t's customer service are neither one known top of the line.

the insurance is a rip off as well. as we both know.

i finally found what i was looking for, the camera lens is cheap; but the take apart on the device sounds pretty tough.

i have had no problems with any HTC phone i have had. maybe she got a defective phone? i dont know.

anyway i remember someone here posting a video link on how to take apart an htc desire hd (same phone) so you might want to check out youtube for that. might help you out
