Help Camera problem

I finally got around to trying the camera on the Epic last night. As you can see in the attached picture, something isn't right. It looks light some kind of psychedelic special effect on the screen. This is with the stock 2.1 ROM and the stock camera app. I downloaded a different camera app and the same thing happens. I guess I'll try troubleshooting it this weekend, but it looks like this phone is getting exchanged.

Well, I searched and found some threads about the same camera problem on other phones. Nobody seemed to have an idea about a fix, so I did a factory reset and that didn't fix anything. So, the phone got returned and now I can take normal pictures.
