Root Camera problem

Can anyone guess what's the problem for camera.
Its problem of Sentacy.
He asked for help to me but I am unable to diagnose it.
Can anyone help?

wierd really, did he mess up any camera drivers ?.. ask him to do a full nand restore and check if problem persists
 
Ya its really weird,
But dis prblm occurred after flashing LEANDROS.. it takes pictures properly but dnt know wat with preview screen.
If i move back to stock ROM den dis problem doesn't arrive..
SAM any suggestions to resolve dis??


 
You didn't flash properly happens to me all the time in cm7 ..I overclock and it goes ..try flashing again by wiping data and system
Before that install LG camera and reduce fps

It is just a shitt when you don't know the reason behind anything happens.
Don't know how but just checked my device and now it is working fine.
No square boxes coming in preview screen like what i uploaded before..

Hi SAM,

i did as you said.. Wiped data and system, installed LEANDROS from SD-CARD.
Further to avoid problems i created new EXT partition and installed all my apps newly.
Now still i am getting those boxes in preview screen in default camera app. Even in LG camera also..
Also like what you said same happens in MX VIDEO PLAYER... if you select HW then there are boxes in video screen but if you select SW/SW-fast mode den there is no problem in video screen..

Kindly give any solution.. .. .. .. .. :) :)
 
It means your video codecs have got bit corrupted ..if you select sw it uses its own ..does any one have this problem..try coming from stock rom to leondros
 
I uninstalled codecs, downloaded the same from market and installed once again but same problem persists.
I think you are right the codecs are corrupted but what is the solution?

I mean your phone codecs not..the player ones..try installing stock and after.that just wipe dalvik and install leondros

Okey i got it.. Just help in dis ... Wen i try to flash Rom; it formats SD-EXT also. After that i try to restore the same from SD-EXT.img.. It shows u that the SD-EXT is restored and i mounted it properly.
But i am not able to see apps from that... It happened twice and i had to install all apps manually...

If i find appropriate solution to this den i can go forward to install stock and wiping cache.. .. .. .. .. :) :)
 
My camera is automatically switching betn front and back.


It happens in all roms but rarely

Today its frequency is incresed(I have to change camera for every photo )

For me
1)use camera 360 or camera fx
2)while taking pics focus twice then it will take crisp images,if u focus once then blur (first focus with camera button and then touch the screen)
