Root Camera problem

Hallo to the people in this forum.

After installing CM7 on my HTC Desire the camera is not responding.

Before installation I did factory reset, wipe cache and wipe davlik. I have to mention that before the successful installation of CM7, I installed a wrong version of CM7 - instead of bravo version I installed bravoc version of CM7.

Could you please advice how to proceed in this matter?

Hopefully you did a nandroid back-up before you flashed a me ROM. Just restore that & check the camera works. If it does try a different Rom.

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately I am newbie to flashing and I did no backups.
I tried different roms and at the end I even unrooted the device by installing the official HTC Desire Android 2.3. The camera still does not respond

Well that sounds like it can only be hardware issues then. Strange that it only showed itself after a ROM flash.
