Is there a way to zoom the camera out so it is at 0? It seems I can only get it down to 1x. Is that normal?

Yes, it's normal. 1x is the normal setting. 2x would be 2 times the normal setting.

Thanks. I was comparing it to a Lumia 928 camera and I believe that one is a wide angle which is why the pics looked more close up on the S4.
