Help Camera rotates pictures automatically

I have noticed that the my note 2 rotates some of my pictures taken in portrait orientation to landscape. It seems to pick and choose which ones randomly. Sometimes (if the object is close) if I move the phone slightly forward or backward from the object and take it again, the picture will stay portrait. For distance objects, I change the zoom in or out and this fixes it sometimes.....anyone else notice this or have a fix.
