So... I'm unlocked & rooted and would like to disable the camera sound for the stock camera. I had been hoping that 4.4 would include this option, but it doesn't.
I use ES File Explorer and I navigate to where the camera_click.ogg is, but I can't seem to do anything with it. I can't rename it, delete it, whatever.
I thought with rooted access one could delete anything?
I could see where deleting the file could cause problems (it wants to play a sound file that doesn't exist), so is there some way to get a .ogg file that's silent and replace what's there?
