Help Camera sucks?????

I am trying to take photos focusing on small objects such as teeth and can not get a clear picture out of it.. Every-time it auto-focuses and starts to look clear it all of a sudden gets fuzzy again and looks like shit.. what is going?
 
No I am talking about the focus.. As I stated above the clarity goes really well and then disappears so it has nothing to do with a smudgy lens if it's really clear for a sec and then gets gritty all of a sudden.. it's only on small objects.. try it!
 
i have noticed that if you are trying to take a pic up close it does that, auto focus-clear for a sec then blurry again.

solution i found, move the phone about an inch or two away from the area where you originally tried to take the pic then zoom in all the way then tap screen to focus.

I knew I wasn't the only one experiencing this. Thanks for the advice for I will try that tonight.

I'm afraid I have to disagree. I snapped this today with my Inspire 4G (trying to figure out what is eating my orange tree). The critter is only 3/4 of an inch long. Other than cropping, I haven't retouched this photo. Not as good as a dedicated camera, but pretty good for a phone. The trick is to turn off auto-focus. Focus manually by tapping the screen, then hit the shutter release. Otherwise, any little movement can trigger a refocus.

your right the camera does suck... Auto focus feature does not work... Anytime I am outside and I am trying to take a picture the screen just goes all white unless it is VERY low light... I dont know WTH is going on... It just seems as the days go on the worse my phone gets...


First it was auto rotate

then no more notifications with out manually refreshing

now my camera does not work properly...
 
The camera on the Inspire does not suck..its actually really good..ive had some good camera phones like Nokias n82, N95 etc and the inspire camera is pretty damn good..i had the atrix and now that camera sucks. Mine takes very clear up close photos. yeah it doesnt have a macro setting like it did on my nokias but the up close pics are very very crisp.
