Help Camera Tint? Blue?

the problem i have is i was recording in low light conditions at 20fps. then i install the OTA and the same recordings with the same conditions are 12fps. thats bullsh*t

btw heres a comparison pic

the blue tint is gone to anyone who doubts it. but its not worth the video camera running like garbage..

I've noticed a bluish tint with flash...turns out my otterbox defender case has a protective plastic over camera lens...makes pix look bluish with flash...I removed plastic cover from case and all is good now.

Anyone else notice their stock camera taking more blueish photos in various lighting?

I primarily use Camera 360, and that seems to compensate for the blue stock camera tint?

But, I must say the stock camera app is quite nice.

Yes - I had that issue with my first d3. I called verizon tech support and we ran through a couple things and they sent me a different d3. The replacement did not have this issue.

I have read that some of the soak testers for the upcoming update received the update and one guy who was experiencing the blueish tint no longer had that issue after the update. So hang in there - this update may fix this for you :)

The color issues should be fixed with the update (VZW rolling it out now and we all should have it by Friday), or you can do the leaked one now, but from what i heard it fixes the camera. Try it and if it does not help then I'd return the phone under warranty.

... just what I heard.
The official firmware update didn't come out last Fri. or this Fri. Does anyone know what's up w/ the delay? TIA.

I received the update today and I must say that it fixed the blue tint in the camera and resolved issues that I had with texting/emailing adding a period, adding spaces, stuck keys and other problems that made it impossible to send a message to someone without wanting to throw the phone against a block wall.

Only other issue I can think of that I have yet to test is the battery life which has been frustrating.

I'm glad you bumped up this thread, cencalcoast. I've been meaning to post proof of how the blue tint is gone with the firmware update. I took these pics from my bedroom immediately before and after the update.
