Help Camera wont focus

Does anyone have issues with their camera not focusing - more specifically, not focusing when taking macro shots (both in auto & "close up" mode)? The camera will focus perfectly on the object for a split second, then go back to being blurry. I'm not sure if I should do a factory reset or swap the phone for another one at T-mobile while I still can. Unless this is just how the camera is... then nevermind.

I'm not sure if this is similar... but I used to have problems with getting the camera to focus.

But when i turn off the auto-focus feature, meaning that i would have to manually focus by tapping the screen, it works fine now
