One of the improvements I was looking forward to was in the Gallery and Camera, mainly because of the information below. I haven't seen these on my Desire with 2.2.


Anyone have these??

Hi there,

I have seen both. The Gallery app is more of a re-name than a whole new app! but its there! I had to reboot my phone to get the app shortcut on one of my homescreens to update with the new "gallery" name, but the link in applications was available imediately.

As for the 720p recording, if you open your camera, pull out the draw from the left and choose Video. Then select the settings option (bottom left, looks like two cogs) there is an option for resolution. Tap that to get all the options including 720p. Which looks amazing BTW!

one more thing! The Gallery app in that link is the one HTC replace with their own as part of SenseUI. I have downloaded the other gallery app and its pretty good, but crashes quite often, and the camera button doesn't work. I figure this is because it is calling something SenseUI doesn't understand
