Root Can anyone help me to finish this MIUI rom?

Forgive me for my poor English.
It's too hard to post a thread here,the forum always tell me "my IP is banned...",so I have to use GoAgent to visit the forum.And it's so slow.

The important thing is I ported a MIUI rom based on this cm10.1.Now everything seems OK,except the SD Card can't be mounted.I tyied to replace bin/vold of the cm10.1,but it can't even boot normly.I think this rom is good,much smoother than the MIUI 3.7.Can anyone help me to finish it?

I don't know how to develop any roms I am just a noob but I am more than happy to help do any testing if needed I am already rooted and running blue Kingdom and on boost so any assistance I can be I would be more than happy to help thank you for contributing to what I thought was a forgotten phone again I am just a noob
 
I don't know if this helps, but have you tried extracting 'framework-res.apk' and replace the 'storage_list.xml' file from a more stable rom like BlueKingdom (or BASE rom)? I have done a little research on this and found that people have gotten sd cards to mount this way. These are the websites I found.

I tried that method,it didn't work.but i replaced orginal bin/vold and boot succesfully last night by modifing service.jar.but it always poped error message like 'service.process.media halt'.i will try to solve it someday.
 
得找时间试试这个miui，LZ用的是GSM还是CDMA呢？CDMA能3G吗？
可惜我的电脑硬盘坏了，不能做rom，暂时是不能帮上什么忙
 
哈哈，你还在用么？我以为你换手机了呢，你出手就有希望啊，我做了半个月的patchrom，最后放弃了，实在没精力去深入研究smail语法，所以才拼包移植了这个，有空帮帮忙。
 
建议反编译framework-res.apk修改storage_list.xml，已经试过直接rar中替换storage_list.xml后，能够挂载USB与使用相机，只是设置中的存储出现bug，应该是替换用的文件不完全合适，如果反编译修改应该是行的
 
framework-res.apk这个是不是修改过了？反编译不成功，里面的SD卡资源0x01040555指向有问题，如果修改过，发一个没有修改过的来
 
应该是没有修改过，修改的我没放进去。你试试这个，这个是我移植的原版rom里的，再不行我就没办法了

太感谢了，我先试试，之前呼吸灯还不行，还有照相的比例不对，偶尔还有界面停止运行，我看看能不能解决。
 
呼吸灯应该就只能充电绿色，来电短信什么的都不亮，这个跟内核有关，看内核应该是移植其它版本的内核吧？除非你自己编译过内核

和内核关系应该不大，这个rom是基于你的cm10.1移植的，内核也是你做的CM10.1改的，然后我又用了SlimBean那个rom的内核，都不行。我发现主要是system/lib/hw里面两个light开头的文件的问题，但是现在找不到能用的来替换，所以还是没弄好。另外，重启之后界面会停止运行，这个也很麻烦，很多桌面设置都保存不了，logcat里面一大堆错误，不知道要怎么修复才好。
 
system/lib/hw里面两个light开头的文件就是编译内核时同时编译出来的，要在内核源码中改（指示灯的驱动部分）好后，再编译过内核重新生成system/lib/hw里面的文件。
替换了我给你的framework-res.apk重启后界面停止？应该不会呀，我这都替换成功了的。
 
嗯，是一开机会出现一次界面停止运行，这个我再看看

那会不会是没改好，我今天专门试了slimkingdom那个rom，那个呼吸灯根本不亮，所以替换它rom里的文件也不亮，替换你rom里的和4.0版的文件就会充电亮绿灯。
 
呼吸灯与录像很难弄，很难找到适合的移植文件，开机出现一次界面停止错误不知是什么原因，不影响使用
已经成功用此rom使用CDMA并上网，多谢你的rom。

我安装了wsm tools，但是，mi-tools没法正常运行，一修改状态栏就闪退，没办法我又退回4.0了
 
Just wondering what Android Version is this? Is it 4.2 like the cm 10.1 or is it another android version. Also is there anything I can do to help? (Don't expect much from me though) =)

it is 4.2.2 based on cm10.1.
there is still something need to fix.the LED light can't work normally,and after reboot an error will pop up.
i hope you can try your best to fix them.
 
For the lights have you tried to replace the lights.ms7x30.so and lights.goldfish.so in system/lib/hw from BlueKingdom? I know it works perfectly with the light but that is ICS based so I don't know if it will work perfectly. Also You can try the Evervolv Jellybean build. I don't have access to this phone right now. The battery is completely dead but I do have a new battery ordered. I hope this helps.

Also can you please tell me what the error is so that I can research on that as well?
