Hoping someone can help with this. I've had my Inc since August - and love it.
I have 2 Gmail mailboxes linked to my device. Let's call them Mail A and Mail Z. They are NOT linked, ie, I don't have one box forwarding to the other, or anything like that. I am using the stock mail application on my phone.
On my Incredible, when I look at my inbox for Mail A, it looks perfectly normal, and syncs perfectly. No problems there.
However, when I look at my inbox for Mail Z, there are some old items in that inbox which do not exist on that inbox when I go to gmail on my computer! There are many strange things about these items (there are about a dozen):
1. In looking at the items, based on the sender and subject, they are mail items which would have at one time or another existed on Mailbox A, but NEVER would have existed in Mailbox Z.
2. New items received in Mailbox Z are fine, and sync fine on the Incredible
3. The strange items are dated in December, my phone is set to only show items from the last 7 days
4. I cannot open any of the items, NOR CAN I DELETE THEM. When I try to delete them, my mail app force closes.
5. I have tried removing this account from my phone and re-adding it, it did not help.
6. I have tried emptying ALL December items from BOTH gmail accounts (via my PC), then re-syncing Mail, that didn't help.
Can anyone advise as to how this might have happened, and more importantly, how I can get these items out of my Incredible's Inbox??
