just wondering how to set my droid up, so when i plug my cable into it i get the droid notification sound... ive heard it in many youtube droid videos... i tried to find a way to do it but couldnt... thanks

There used to be a setting for "notification on USB connection" but Android 2.1 or 2.2 got rid of it... it's a shame but I can't find an alternate setting anywhere. I'm pretty sure it just doesn't exist anymore.

Menu, settings, sound and display, notification ringtone, then pick. Dddrrrooooiiiiddd.

Are you still on 2.1? When I connect I get no notification when I connect...

My bad I missed some posts. Yes I'm on 2.1 still. Its there for me but I guess I'm behind the curve.

thanks.. im on 2.2 and its no longer there.. wish they wouldnt of taken it away...
