Can anyone here translate Chinese? :)

Sure I can help, what's the message? BTW we only know Simplified Hanzi here, rather than Traditional, if that's important.

Right about not using Google Translate for a tat...LOL.

Thanks! :)

I will PM it to you. It has some strong language.... if that would offend you, please let me know in advance.
It is basically a memorial to somebody who recently passed away and it was her favorite phrase/saying.

Thanks for your help.

Let me know before I PM it to you that you won't be offended.

Dan :)

Hi Dan, strong language is not a problem for me, or my Chinese friends. Go ahead PM me. Something to bare in mind, we only know Simplified Chinese characters here, as used in Mainland China(PRC). There's also Traditional Chinese characters, as used in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other areas which don't have a significant Mainland Chinese population. I know a couple of friends in Guangdong province, who should know Traditional Chinese, but it's not something we use or teach at all here in Northern China.

FYI...

Best get it right, I've heard stories of western tattoo artists trying to do Chinese tats. They find something in a catalogue, and it's like the Chinese version of Chinglish, or it's just meaningless gibberish. But it looks good as long as you can't read Chinese. ;)

The Google Translate app can translate the symbol for you. You have to write it in yourself as I do not believe the feature where you can take a picture works with Chinese yet. Also, choose the traditional Chinese and not the simplified one.

I do speak some Chinese. If you post a picture of the character(s) here, perhaps I or others can translate it for you.

Actually, I PM'd the phrase to Mikedt (due to offensive language/symbol). He helped out to resolve it.

Thanks everybody!
