Okay..I need help here and I'm not very good at rooting, I'm going to go out on a limb and say I got lucky when I followed a guide correctly and rooted my phone and installed Cyanogen Mod 7.02.

I'm having TONS of issues with the 3G going on & off it went off 4 times today and I'm absolutely sick of it, I want to unroot and go back to stock..But don't really want to pay someone from Craigs list to do it for me.

I've thought about sending it into verizon just to get it replaced even though it'll void my warranty but my warranty is up any way in 2 months.

Please someone help me I just want to un root and go back to stock.

Before going back to stock try and flash a froyo based Rom. It should clear up your 3G issues since CM7 is a gingerbread ROM and some phones don't like GB.

A good ROM to use if you want a stock feel with the GB look (but running 2.2) is Bugless Beast 6.2.1 by Pete. You can find it at his site Peter Alfonso or your can download it through ROM Manager. It is very stable and runs extremely well and it should clear up your 3G issues.

Let us know if you have any other questions and we will help you through them.

Thanks for the advice I do appreciate it. Though I met someone in chat last night who walked me through step by step how to restore to my nandroid back up (Before I installed Cyanogen) and I'm now back on stock!

I'm glad it worked out for ya. A sporadic group of people have had problems with GB working on their phones which is probably why we are stuck at 2.2 unless you get a ROM to work.

if you actually want to "unroot" your phone, search for superoneclick......that is by far the easiest way.

Ultimate Droid 2.5 has been very good for me as far as 3G goes -- absolutely no issues whatsoever.
