Help Can anyone point me in the right direction from here

Hey all, Ok so im all new to this rooting stuff and iv gone ahead and rooted s-off supercid and did have clockwork recovery...... i tryed installing Android Revolution HD and installs succsessfully etc and now have 4ext touch recovery, but i get stuck on the screen "HTC quietly brilliant" i understand that reading the forum you must delete PG58IMG off the sdcard, but do you have to install it to the phone first before deletion i.e....... Install from sdcard, choose zip from sdcard, PG58IMG <---- chooseing this file to install OR just to now delete the file off sdcard

Your help will be very much appreciated & many thanks in advance.

Hi there,

I have just got my Sensation and rooted it and installed the same ROM you are trying to flash.

You need to have the latest firmware installed else you get stuck on the white screen. You download it from the website. Put the file and the ROM file on your sdcard.

Also, the zip file you were having bother with needs to be on your sdcard, then boot into bootloader, it will ask if you want to update/upgrade and you need to use the volume up/down buttons to answer [I think it is up for yes, which is what you want]. Once it is done, it will ask if you want to reboot and you need to press the up button again BUT BEFORE you do that remove your sdcard, put it in a sdcard reader, plug it into your pc and remove the zip file. Then put it back in your phone and press the up button to reboot. Now you will have the 4ext recovery.

You need to flash the firmware and then the ROM.

Have you done a SuperWipe?

I just followed the instructions from here [Guide] to Installing S-off, Unlocking, ClockWork, Root, SuperCID & S-on - xda-developers to s-off, recovery, root and supercid and then downloaded the firmware, rom and super wipe from here [ROM] Android Revolution HD™ 6.4.0 | ICS | High Quality & Performance | 3.32.401.3 - xda-developers and followed these instructions from that site

How to flash:
Download ROM and place it on your SD card
Download "Super Wipe" script & place it on your SD card (optionally if coming from earlier version of my ROM, obligatory if coming from stock or other custom ROM)
Boot your phone in recovery mode (vol down + power)
In main menu, select "install zip from sdcard"
Select "choose zip from sdcard" and browse to the location of "Super Wipe" script
Once again select "choose zip from sdcard" and browse to the location of Android Revolution ROM
After flashing process is complete, reboot the device

It is all there if you can find it and read it.
