I'm running into a strange issue today. My Droid X that I've had for one year started having an audio issue.
The only audio that I can hear from the phone are ringtones / notification tones. Whenever I attempt to play audio, there is no sound. Also, whenever I place or receive a phone call, I can't hear the caller and the caller can't hear me (so the problem also lies in the earpiece as well as the speaker).
However, whenever I plug earphones into the phone, I can hear music. If I have earphones in the droid during a call, I can now hear the caller, but the caller still cannot hear me.
Can anybody send me in the right direction to resolve this? Thanks!
P.S. I've already tried a 30-minute battery pull and a handful of reboots. No dice.
EDIT: Speakerphone also works.
