Root Can I disable voice calls entirely?

Hai gais!!!! Been a while, :P

Here's the deal, I sleep with this woman who I absolutey adore on skype most nights and it is getting pretty frustrating when the skype call gets disconnected when someone decides to randomly drunk dial me at 2 A.M. My question is, can I temporarily disable all voice calls without even allowing them to ring through? Any setting I can change, or root app? All of the call blockers I have seen use Pick-up/Hang-up and that won't cut it because it still drops the skype call. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)
 
Do you have wifi?
if so airplane mode, then enable wifi.
No calls, no texts... Just your data connection
 
If no wifi I don't know if this will work or not, maybe you can use titanium and freeze the phone. And then the data should keep working. Like I said it's just an idea I don't even know if that would work.
 
I tried freezing the dialer but it still rang thru, I just couldn't answer. I couldn't freeze it all because phone became unstable. Anything else?
 
There has to be SOME way. If airplane mode disables both, there has to be a way to disable voice and not data.

if you phone rings once will it cut off skype? if not just forward cell to house phone and turn ringer down on house phone?????? maybe???? just shooting anything out there.

you should be able to turn ringertone vol on cel down too and media will still work.

That was my next option was to try forwarding. It can't ring through at all or it cuts data, I might be able to use Google Voice.
 
Just try the uninstall method with titanium backup. If u uninstall it you have no phone, its pretty much a tablet at that point... isn't it? Then just restore it in the morning. Give it a shot, worst case is your still in the same boat looking for other options

I am not quite sure what to uninstall tho, titanium doesnt show phone.apk just 2 separate apps one is [Voicemail] Dialer blah blah, and the other is "Dailer storage..." when I froze the one that said storage it gave me constant FC.

Yeah, no dice. I can't figure out how to forward calls at all... let alone without ringing through. I am stumped.

This is BS, all we can do with this phone and this is really irritating lol. Someone has to know this. We will figure it out!!!!! Lol:thumb:

Its all good bro, I.saw what phone you had. That don't mean you can't chip in with suggestions over here. I don't think the OP's issue matters for this phone or that phone, etc. Help is help and your input is welcome. I'm sure he will get what he is looking for :D
