build number: MIUIAndroid-1.7.15.0

can you help me?

You probably can root again, yes. Depends on what your brother did. Can you confirm you definitely no longer have root? Most custom ROMs are rooted by default.

I presume the model name refers to the Motorola Droid 2?

He had a Droid 1 but he rooted it to a Droid 2.
???? When you root a phone, you don't make any sort of change like that. At the most, you _might_ be able to flash a Droid 2 rom to it, but I bet it wouldn't even boot up at all.

To the OP, can you boot the phone into recovery manually? If so, try restoring your latest working backup. And what makes you say the phone is no longer rooted?

the phone is the Droid 1 and my brother unrooted it after i installed the ROM and now it just wont let me do anything root capable like wifi hotshot or use ROM manager etc. is there a root program that is easy as well as for my ROM and model???

what program should i use from this website to root my phone again on the MIUIAndroid ROM though?
Have you tried to boot your phone into recovery manually like I asked before? Please answer that question before we proceed. If you can and it boots into a custom recovery, that should be the easiest way to reroot your phone by either restoring your last (rooted) working backup or flashing the MIUI rom again.

Let me know. Thanks.
