Can I flash my flashed phone?

I am the proud owner of a Samsung Fascinate bearing the Verizon logo that has been flashed to work on the Metro PCS network. My question is can I flash a different ROM or even do a factory reset without messing it up? At this point I can no longer long press on the home screen to change widgets ect.
