Root can I flash to boost with HTC Evo 4G?

I have been reading for a total of 4 days now trying to figure out how to get the phone to stock so I can then attempt at using all the data I pulled from my donor phone using CDMA wkrshp. I have looked at RUU's (which there are not any out for the most recent versionof software out right now. Tried it with clockwork, no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

what rom do you have?

and just so you know cwm sucks on the evo 4g. i would recommend that you use amon ra 2.3 or smellkus.
