Can I protect the camera l

Hi all,

I really like my Wildfire S, but one thing that concerns me is that given the camera lens is almost flush with the back cover, it is easily prone to scratching. I was considering cutting out a small circle from a screen protector and placing it on the lens, but I'm not sure if it will affect the picture quality.

Just wondered if anyone knows of any 'proper' lens covers/protectors that might be available or am I worrying about it too much?

Thanks,

Ben.

Ben, not seen any of such protector. Maybe u can use a case, in that way the lens wont be as flush ? Or maybe u can cut a screen protector for the lens

Thanks for the reply. So far, it has been fine. I keep it in a soft pouch when not in use and I am fairly careful with it. I think I may try cutting up a screen protector and trying that - see if it degrades the picture quality.

How did you get on with the camera Ben?

I have a metal PC desk and keep putting my phone down on it- am terrified of the camera getting scratched.

Has anyone found and genius ways of protecting the camera?

No, clunkercar, not found anything specific to look after the camera, I just try to be careful. I keep my phone in a soft hoodie pouch thing and I make sure that when I have my phone on my desk I rest it on that rather than directly on the desk. Some of these gel cases look good though so I may give one of those a go.

Best screen protector I have ever found: Take a small piece of clear scotch tape and put if over the camera lens with the back cover off. Then put the back cover back on so the tape is flush. You can't even tell that the tape is there with the battery cover on and it works perfect.
