Help can i put android 4.0 on my kindle?

hi, can i put android 4.0? or any android?? im not sure just got the KF to day and thinking of taking it back bc i dont like not having google play.. wht can or should i do? im fine with root/rom, an mods

There are a handful of ICS ROMs for the KF. You would have to root the phone, install the FireFireFire Bootloader and a custom recovery (I think most ICS ROMs for the KF require TWRP 2.0).

You could also root the phone and install Google Play on the stock KF.
