Help Can I put walmart sim card in Verizon incredible 2?

I'd like to receive messages and use internet on a new sim card.

I have verizon incredible 2.

Can I buy cheap sim cards to do this?

Do I need to unlock my verizon phone to use other services sim cards?

Can I buy a cheap walmart sim card to use, there only $1.00

are you talking about straightalk? If you use a AT&T or Tmob cim it will work but only for 2G. You won't get 3G service so the internet will be slow.

Ideally I just need the new number for 1 text and about 20 pages of internet.

I had a long chat with the TMobile live chat.

Apparently the cheapest you can get a new number for is $10, no matter if its subscription/pre paid/ pay per day. Even if you buy sim cards, theres a minimum refill amount for each sim. $10 is the minimum everytime you stick a new sim card in the phone, at least for TMobile.

Think I can get a number somewhere else for more like $1 or at least cheaper than $10?

I'm not using simtal btw. I'm using verizon with the incredible 2.
