Root Can I Re-Lock my Bootloader?

I recently unlocked my bootloader with the intention of rooting my phone, but have since discovered that isn't possible due to my HBoot number being 2x. As I can't root my phone, does anyone know if it's possible to re-lock the bootloader?

I don't really know, if I had to thumb suck you could;
Revert back to and older RUU (2.3.3 one) (not straight forward, use zegRush to get shell root), That will allow out to s-off and root normally.

Or then upgrade back to a 2.3.5 RUU.

Not sure, but if you unlock your bootloader you can try superoneclick (zegRush method) and see if it will perm root you phone.

You can push your original Bootloader using adb.
