Can I root

I have a galaxy s2 with Baseband : I9100XXKP8 and kernel 3.0.13-I9100XXKP8-CL42141 se.infra@SEP-53 #3. This is the Andrion ICS (4.0.3) rom

Would this be a insecure kernal and can I root my phone on this kernel and what program should I use I have S2 root shall I use that or a different rooter?
Thanks in advance

You appear to be one of the privileged few on ICS. If you have not rooted (ie its a new phone) then this must be an official release. Did you buy this from a store, or 2nd hand? Chances are its 2nd hand and has already been rooted with ICS flashed on.

Download "root check" app from the market to test.

By the way. The best method of rooting is Chainfire's cf-root method
Flash using his KP8 cf-root file if you happen not to be rooted already
