I have rooted and installed BlackGlass on a 2.2 DroidX before .340 came out. Now that it's out, it tries to download and install this software every night, and it always FAILS because I have removed the bloatware (CityID, Blockbuster, etc...). I have backup files of all of the bloatware from Titanium Backup FREE (.tar.zip files made by TB), but can't seem to see any way to restore these backups (TB doesn't believe that it has any backups of these apps, even though that are in the list of apps with a line through them at the bottom of the app list).
Questions are:
1. Can I Turn off this update?
2. Should I turn off this update? I mean, what am I missing in .340 that I need? Will it fix something that is unstable? Because I have to tell you, BlackGlass running WITHOUT .340 runs pretty freaking awesome.
3. Is there something better than BlackGlass? If I Flash back with SBF and let .340 update, what am I getting out of it?
