Can I use a UK BlackBerry charger with the Note?

Took delivery of my Note here in the UK today via Amazon and I love it! It was imported from Germany and came with a 2 pin plug and an adaptor to use with UK mains. Works fine, but it's fairly cumbersome and I wondered if I could use my UK Blackberry charger, also micro USB, with my Note?

Not rushing into it, I'm not crazy, but I've never got to grips with volts/mah etc hence the question. I looked at the small print on each re: power but, again, I'm not much wiser...but wise enough NOT to use it without being absolutely certain it's compatible.

My note charger has an output of 1amp, this is different to another Samsung micro USB (for my old Galaxy S) charger which is rated at 0.7amp. Whilst I am sure it will work as long as the voltage output is 5v, if your BB charger is rated less than 1 amp then it would just charge slower.

Hope that made sense.

Yeah I understand what you mean. My BB charger is .75, whereas the supplied charger is 1 amp.

I've another charger, from a mifi, with an output of 1A but input is 0.2A whereas the supplied charger is 0.15A. Hmm, not chancing it until I hear an expert opinion.

Hmm, may try it then at some point, no rush.

The Note is ace though isn't it? As an ios user there was a bit of a learning curve when I finally got my hands on it but, having geeked out all day, I think I've largely got to grips with it.

Really is amazing as an ebook reader and video player, reminds me of a massively souped up version of my old HP iPaq 4700.

Just need to find a decent rss reader. I've used Reeder on iOS for ages and the default Google one feels a bit...nasty...compared.

Check out Pulse. It can import your G Reader feeds, and it has a bunch of feeds to pick from, including You Tube vids and Flickr pix and Twitter. It's also beautiful to look at.

Thanks, looks good.

Edit: I'm using the micro USB charger that came with my 3 mifi, works fine.

Further edit: I can use my iPhone charger too, handy because it's absolutely tiny.
