Help Can I use Atrix 4g docks with Atrix 2?

I just got an Atrix 2 and I'm eager to get a desktop and auto dock for it. I see that the docks for the Atrix 4g are going for twenty bucks in some places. Anyone know if the size & micro usb placement on the Atrix 2 would allow it to work with Atrix 4g docks, or do I have to get the significantly more expensive Atrix 2 docks?
 
No you can't. If you notice, the ports on the Atrix 2 are upside-down compared to the original Atrix. Not sure if there's a hack or workaround for this though.
 
there's a thread about this on XDA, specifically about the Lapdock. There are several people there who have apparently popped open the lapdocks, flipped the connections, and had the device work properly. Don't know if that would hold true on the other types of docks though.
