Can I use the G2x on Tmo's prepaid?

T-mobile will soon offer a 70 dollar unlimited text-talk-web prepaid 4g plan for 70 dollars a month:

I dont mind paying full price for the G2x, but would it work on T-mobiles prepaid plan?

of course it will. Just get your prepaid account activated and put your sim card in the g2x.

100% sure it'll work. I used to be a T-Mobile rep, so I can verify it. the $50 Unl talk + text + 100MB web will work, along with the $70 Unl talk + text + web. No special settings or anything needed.

What kind of speed do you get after the first 100mb? Is it like just regular 3G speed or does it throttle down to like EDGE speeds?

As of today, you get no speeds after 100MB. As of May 22nd, 100MB will get you 4G/3G speeds, and then throttled. the new $70 prepaid plan will be unlimited web as well with a 5GB throttling limit.
